This contemporary town house was added to the restoration of the 1880s, this building looks incredible
The duplex of the 1880s has been converted by Guillaume Lévesque Architects in Montreal, Canada, into two flats despite adding a modern townhouse at the back of the existing construction.
This step combines heritage architecture together with contemporary fittings, to achieve harmonious harmony between the two of them. The first 60m2 construction has been restored and converted into 2 light filled flats filled with windows carved into a 3.65 meters high brick wall.
At an identical period, the one hundred eighty square meter modern addition was built in the rear, clad in a sober facades of black metallic panels. Both apartments have been arranged within the exterior of the brick walls, where both have extensive plans using abundant fenestration. The attic is completely covered with new slate tiles, even when dormers and plaster are completely rebuilt.
Erected at the back of an existing building, this modern addition of 180 square meters expands three degrees, while it is clad in a black metal panel façade that provides a neat conclusion. The basement is filled with a double garage with hidden storage and door space, the floor of the living room house, which opens by way of large doors sliding onto the exterior terrace 4 meters x 12 meters.
Located on the 2nd floor, the master bedroom, two bathrooms, and a family area that can also be applied as a visitor s bedroom. All the space of the brightly colored townhouse lights up due to sufficient natural imagination and enters through a large glass window.
There is a large kitchen area combined with white, using stunning white marble as well as a dining area, and also the family area is located in an open space.
