After fretting regarding the idea for over a year and much more time spent in 3D shape investigation, designer Magnus Skogsfjord has finally landed on the sleek chairs layout you see today. The programmer made a decision to go off the triangular or diamond shape for those arm rests to break off the strictness a little. The traces and measurements choose inspiration out of some position diamond with a ratio of 6:5 which is precisely how it’s made the namesake Adamantem (Latin for diamond).
The resulting aesthetic is at the same time complex and satisfying, with it’s various components each telling a different narrative when arriving together as onesingle. From the backrest framing to the arms and legs, it’s own fluid type is conducive by defined lines. In untreated European OAK and darkened grey wool, it is a single sharp chairs option in authentic Scandinavian or Japandi design.
