This antique building consists of three different large rooms and there is a large pool in the middle so you can enjoy the beauty of the animals
US studio Cutler Anderson Architects in Connecticut designed a family home where the owners wanted to enjoy wildlife such as birds and fish in the large pond in the center. This antique building consists of three different large rooms and in the middle there is a large pool. In some areas designed slightly higher ground level. The long and narrow bridge becomes the road that unites the buildings.
On the outside there is a board sticking out horizontally which is intentionally left alone so that it looks more in synergy with the surrounding natural situation. The large glass setting overlooks the large pool that runs along the walls of the building. The three large rooms have their respective roles and functions.
The first area is like a house which contains a cooking area, a family area, a dining area and a living room. The installation of large glass on the walls of the room makes this area no shortage of natural light. The condition of the balcony overlooking the forest and designed a little higher can be used to reflect with the natural surroundings when the climatic conditions are good.
The second area has three bedrooms and the third is equipped with a bathroom inside. Large glass on the wall to cover the room makes this room no shortage of natural light and still displays beautiful natural scenery. The installation of this wall glass requires careful observation and the manufacture is a little more complicated.
The third area with a spare bedroom which also has an en-suite bathroom in each room, and there is also a vehicle garage. This third area directly connects to the road, besides that there is also a terrace area that separates one area from another. The use of materials from Douglas fir wood, large ceramics, and also equipment in a slightly darker gray color is a beautiful combination to add a natural impression in the interior. Judging from the basic material, this makes the room feel hot during the day and cold at night. There are 14 scattered water sources, and the installation of solar panels to increase electricity reserves.
